Our Team

Steve Ford
Owner / Director

Steve’s first interest with motorcycles began back in 1972, when he purchased his first bike, a Honda CB750. Even without a licence he soon discovered the thrill of speed and was often seen out in front of the pack of bikes on many of a weekend run.

After many run-ins with the law, Steve took his desire for speed to Wanneroo Racing Circuit where in 1979 he won the first of many titles becoming the King of Wanneroo aboard a Suzuki GS750 Super bike.

What followed was a dominance of first class achievements on the track including many State Championship wins and the King of Wanneroo title again in 1982 riding a Yamaha FZ750. His ability to set up race bikes with his mechanics enabled him to qualify in pole position on many race days.

Steve co-owned Causeway Yamaha for 9 years and in 1992 joined forces with Honda MPE and opened the doors of Causeway Honda, showcasing the extensive range of Honda motorcycles.

In 1999, Steve retired from competitive racing and concentrated on building his Honda Distributorship to what it is today.
